X3: Last Stand

The X-Men trilogy comes to an explosive conclusion as the clash between humans and mutants reaches its boiling point! Scientists have discovered a way to cure mutants of their genetic alterations. RV

The Munro family needs a vacation. Desperately. So, Bob (Robin Williams) books a trip to a Hawaiian paradise where he, his wife, Jamie (Cheryl Hines), their 15-year-old daughter, Cassie (Joanna “Jo Jo” Levesque), and their 12-year-old son, Carl (Josh Hutcherson) can relax and bond. Bob changes the plan at the last minute, instead securing a gigantic RV for a roadtrip to Colorado. Problem is, Bob’s family doesn’t know he’s completely altered their vacation! They’re not happy when dad herds them into the RV. Things only get worse when the trip gets off on the wrong foot, Bob has trouble handling the oversized vehicle, and the Munros can’t seem to avoid running into the obnoxious Gornicke family. But somehow a vacation that falls apart might just wind up bringing this family together.

Ikki Tousen: Legendary Fighter 1

This anime series tells the story of a war between Fighters, a group of high school students destined to battle until one emerges as the Ikki Tousen, a warrior with the strength of a thousand. Each Fighter wears an amulet that holds the soul of an ancient warrior. These amulets give the high schoolers amplified strength, and force the wearers to fight out the soul’s destiny. Inspired by the Yuji Shiozaki manga known as Battle Vixens, Ikki Tousen centers around one of the Fighters, Hakufu. The bubbly but not always bright heroine is the fiercest of the Fighters, despite having a build fit for a centerfold. Ikki Tousen doesn’t shy away from much, with a simple storyline juiced up with edgy humor, graphic fights, and other risque content throughout.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle

College buddies Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) are hungry. They decide there’s only one thing that’ll hit the spot: a huge order of “sliders,” the notorious mini-burgers found only at White Castle! They drive to get their fix, only to find another fast-food joint has taken over the spot where White Castle used to be. Vowing to stop at nothing until they reach the burger mecca, the two begin an all-night trek through New Jersey. One thing after another starts going wrong, and the two find themselves having to overcome one ridiculous obstacle after another. Their wacky adventure wanders around the roads of Jersey and into a small-time jail, a Princeton women’s room, an encounter with Doogie Howser, and beyond.

House of Wax

In a remake of the 1953 horror classic, six college friends set out on a roadtrip to one of the year’s biggest football games. They camp out the night before the game, and, after a confrontation with a trucker, awake to find their car may have been tampered with. Carly (Elisha Cuthbert), Paige (Paris Hilton), and the rest of their friends find themselves stranded in an eerily deserted small town. The town’s one attraction is Trudy’s House of Wax, home to a collection of remarkably realistic wax figures. The group soon learns that the statues are made from the corpses of townspeople and visitors. Stalked by a pair of twisted brothers, the group must battle to find a way out, or else they’ll become permanent additions to the museum’s collection.

Batman Begins

The Batman franchise makes a triumphant return with this prequel that shows how Bruce Wayne became Batman. Christian Bale takes on the role of the Dark Knight in director Christopher Nolan’s murky tale of loss and revenge. When he was a young boy, Wayne watched as his wealthy parents were gunned down in a random attack. He vanished for years in the Far East, where he trained under Ra’s Al-Ghul (Ken Watanabe), the leader of a mysterious ninja cult. Wayne returns to find his Gotham City home ruled by crime. With help from some Wayne Enterprises weapons prototypes, the young billionaire crafts his new identity, one that will strike fear in the hearts of men and rid Gotham of its criminal plague.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume Four

A milkshake, a meatball, and an order of fries become an unlikely, and, at times, unmotivated brigade of superheroes in Aqua Teen Hunger Force, the hilarious, edgy anchor of Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. Follow the antics of Meatwad, Frylock, and Master Shake in this collection that contains 13 episodes from the show’s fourth season. They are: Video Ouija, Unremarkable Voyage, Mooninites 3: Remooned, Gee Whiz, eDork, Little Brittle, Robositter, Mooninites 4: MoonMasters, Diet, Dusty Gozongas, T-shirt of the Dead, Hypno-germ, and Carl.

American Pie 2

The sequel to the hilarious 1999 teen comedy, American Pie, finds Jim (Jason Biggs), Kevin (Thomas Ian Nicholas), Stifler (Sean William Scott), Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas), and Oz (Chris Klein) reunited at a rented beach house after their freshmen year at college. Whether their “best summer ever” plan works out has a lot to do with what happens with the girls. Heather (Mena Suvari) is studying in France, leaving Oz to deal with a long-distance love. Kevin faces an awkward reunion with Vicky (Tara Reid) after a year apart. Finch decides to learn Tantra, and Stifler’s stirring up his usual romantic mayhem. Add in antics from Jim’s Dad (Eugene Levy), Jim’s cyber-lover, Nadia, (Shannon Elizabeth), and a trip to band camp, and you’ve got another feel-good, coming-of-age, ensemble-comedy hit.

Final Fantasy: Spirits Within

In the future, Earth is a hostile wasteland dotted with the last dome-shielded cities of humanity. Alien spirit creatures kill with a touch by absorbing the souls of terrestrial life forms. While the war against the invaders drudges on, Dr. Aki Ross (voiced by Ming-Na) is close to unraveling the key to phantoms’ power. With Capt. Gray Edwards (Alec Baldwin) and the Deep Eyes squadron, Aki uses a dark secret of hers to try to heal Earth’s life spirit. Meanwhile, the conniving General Hein constructs an orbiting beam weapon that will attack the aliens at their nest’s core – and will put all remaining life on Earth at risk! The film is directed by Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the video game upon which this visually stunning computer-animated film is based.
